Situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape, is the carefully renovated 1852 Victorian homestead of Rosenhof Country House. Surrounded by a gorgeous rose garden, hence its name, Rosenhof is a little oasis in this starkly beautiful Karoo landscape.

ROOMS & SUITES

Rosenhof Country House has 12 rooms and two executive suites. The two executive suites are located 100m from the main house for that added privacy and feature their own lounge, swimming pool and patio with tranquil views of the Swartberg Mountains. The rooms and suites are stylishly decorated and individually furnished exuding country house charm. All include en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and heating, satellite television, minibar and tea and coffee facilities. Yellowwood beams and ceilings and a tasteful collection of antique furniture helps Rosenhof retain its authenticity.

LEISURE & ACTIVITIES

There is a cosy pub and several comfortable relaxing lounges with fireplaces, a sunny breakfast room overlooking the manicured gardens, traditional country cuisine and wine collection in the dining room, a large swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, and the Wellness Centre with a gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and beauty clinic. Oudtshoorn is known for its ostrich farms and the Cango Caves, both of which are an easy drive from Rosenhof. The area boasts scenic drives, hiking, mountain biking, Meerkat Adventures and quirky Karoo towns.
