WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY...
JOURNEY ON AN ESCORTED TOUR IN AFRICA
Traversing Africa on an escorted tour is ideal for a myriad of different travellers. You can sit back and enjoy the scenery as the changing landscapes pass you by, while learning about the regions that you travel through from an experienced guide. See the destination that you visit through the eyes of a local, and simply enjoy the journey.
An escorted tour is a fantastic way to see a range of destinations, without the pressure of planning each element and travelling on your own. With a range of tour types across Southern & Eastern Africa, there is something to suit everyone, from small group tours in 4-5* boutique hotels, to true off-the-beaten-track adventure touring.
HOW WILL YOU JOURNEY?
SIGNATURE TOURS
These tours are special because of one or more of the following factors - smaller group sizes; a higher standard of hotel and lodge accommodation; and a more unique form of transportation. Generally more refined.
TRAVELLER TOURS
Blending discovery with style, these tours offer a relaxed, small-group experience through some of the region’s most iconic landscapes. Stay in handpicked 4-star lodges and boutique retreats, and travel in the comfort of a touring vehicle. With just 8 travellers, you will enjoy a personal and exclusive journey.
CLASSIC TOURS
Showcasing the major highlights. A few less inclusions. Optional activities available. 3-4 star hotels and lodges. Representing great value.
ADVENTURE TOURS / DISTINCTIVE ACCOMMODATION
Explorer Tours take you deep into Africa’s most breathtaking landscapes, far from the crowds and closer to nature. These immersive adventures use handpicked, comfortable and/or distinctive accommodation, offering unique experiences and designed for those who want the best of both worlds. Travel in adventure vehicles to explore hidden retreats and unforgettable wilderness.
PIONEER TOURS
Africa, raw and untamed. Pioneer Tours take you deep into Africa’s wildest landscapes - where the roads are rough and the landscapes untouched. Travelling in custom adventure trucks, you’ll sleep under canvas (camping) or beneath the stars, with only an occasional lodge or hotel. These journeys are hands-on, with some participation in camp chores expected. Immersing you in local culture, every day will bring you a new challenge. Amazing value.
TRAINS AND CRUISING
Africa is home to some of the world’s great luxury trains, Rovos Rail. Offering a variety of journeys across Southern Africa from 3-15 nights. We also offer touring by boat/ship, ranging from 12 berth sailing yachts to classic river cruisers, and 184 berth luxury explorer vessels.
