INTRODUCTION

OTP Travel Services Ltd T/A Africa Collection is committed to using and protecting data and personal information supplied to us in accordance with Irish Law and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU/GDPR). This privacy notice and policy relates to data and personal information supplied to us either directly, via use of this website, or via one of our appointed travel agents.

WHAT DATA AND PERSONAL INFORMATION MIGHT WE COLLECT FROM YOU?

We need to collect and use various types of data and personal information about you, in order to fulfil your enquiry and/or booking, and where we consider to have legitimate interest or legal obligations. This might include, but is not limited to - name and contact details; credit & debit card details; passport & visa information; payment information; your travel insurance arrangements; frequent flyer membership details; emergency contact information; special requests (ie dietary, special occasions etc); medical conditions; religious beliefs; information regarding mobility & disability; flight details.

We might also collect information in relation to your visit to our website (ie what pages you visit, length of visit to our site, what device you are using etc). We may also collect data and personal information via our Live Chat service. We may use your contact details (and preferences) to contact you with marketing activity, although we need your continued consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We may collect your contact details when you complete our Customer Service Questionnaire. We might collect details about you when you engage with us via various social media channels. We will on occasion collect and use various types of data and personal information about you from third parties (ie Google Analytics). We might also need to ask you to provide data and personal information in relation to travellers accompanying you on your holiday.

We follow strict security procedures, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and best practices to ensure your data and personal information is stored securely. From time to time we will need to share certain aspects of your personal information to suppliers and relevant third parties, in the interests of providing the services and product that you expect to receive. This might include, but is not limited to - hotels & lodges; airlines; transport providers; tour companies; government agencies.

We make every possible effort to ensure that our suppliers and relevant third parties keep your data and personal information secure and do not share your data or personal information with any further third parties. Please, however, consider the destinations that we operate to in Africa (outside of the EEA) and their resources and ability to fulfil this obligation, despite their best intentions.

BROCHURE &/OR WEBSITE ACCURACY AND IMAGES

Every effort has been made to ensure that the information contained in our brochure and on our website is accurate, and that the images used accurately reflect the destinations or hotels/lodges and their surroundings. However, please bear in mind that the brochure may have been produced some time before you travel, and that destinations, hotels/lodges and their surroundings change periodically, sometimes without our knowledge. COOKIES POLICY

In order to facilitate your visit to our website, our website makes no use of cookies to alter your viewing experience. However to process your enquiry, or send you a brochure, we will collect the data provided as well as your IP Address to confirm your geographic location, and to filter Spam.
