I WANT TO INTERACT WITH ELEPHANTS
Nothing quite prepares you for your first encounter with an African Elephant, the largest land mammal on earth.
The sheer size and presence of these magnificent and intelligent animals is awe-inspiring. Many wilderness regions in Africa depend on elephants for seed dispersal; maintaining tracks and open spaces; forests which sequester carbon and release water and oxygen, therefore playing a key role in the global climate.
You will be able to interact with Elephants through a variety of activities, including walking with Elephants; participating in or observing activities such as mud bathing, training and veterinary care; learn about the different aspects of Elephant conservation; and gain insight into Elephant behaviour.
Africa Collection is opposed to the riding of Elephants and will not recommend or book operations that continue with this practice.
